Half an hour after the parade began, a red car crashed into a crowd at around 7pm local time. The bodies of many were scattered.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital by paramedics and police. The card driver has been taken into police custody. The initial conclusion of the police was that it was not a terrorist attack.
