Bonds are in a state of collapse. Authorities are making an announcement asking people to leave the village as soon as possible.
District Collector Hari Narayanan inspected the site along with district police, revenue officials and irrigation staff. All the villagers below were then instructed to evacuate. Currently, the reservoir holds 0.9 TMC of water. It's overflowing. Never before has so much water reached this reservoir.
Efforts are also underway to repair the cracks in the reservoir. It is not raining now, but the water is not gone.
