Kerala News English: PM-Kisan scheme: Central Govt invites PM-Kisan beneficiaries to participate in Independence Day celebrations

 The central government has invited around 1,800 dignitaries, including beneficiaries of the PM-Kisan scheme, to participate in the Independence Day celebrations in New Delhi. Sarpanchs of various villages, workers involved in several projects like Central Vista Project, Har Ghar Jal Yojana projects and Border Roads Organization have been invited to the celebrations to mark 75 years of India's independence.

In a statement issued by the Union Ministry of Agriculture, it has been announced that about 1800 special guests from different parts of India will participate in the ceremony of hoisting the national flag by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Red Fort on August 15 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The government has decided to invite people from all walks of life in accordance with 'Jan Bhagidari'.
